We Are Ready To Help You

Our History

LDA HELP INC., under the leadership of Elias DeHerrera and Camelia DeHerrera, has been proudly serving the community for more than 35 years. As legal document assistants, they operate a family-owned business providing self-help services for legal matters. They are authorized to provide legal document preparation services and are registered and bonded in the County of Santa Clara.
Elias and Camelia can speak both English and Spanish. In 1987, they founded D&C Paralegal Service in San Jose, CA (Santa Clara County) and later changed the name to D&C LDA HELP.
They opened their second office in California, bringing their years of professional, personal, and qualified experience. They helped thousands of self-represented individuals complete and file their legal documents according to their specific needs.

Eligibility

Elias and Camelia DeHerrera received a certificate from Santa Clara County Superior Court Judges for the Leadership Class. They maintain an ongoing understanding of the changes occurring in the legal system by attending continuing legal education (CLE) classes.
In April 2011, both received a certificate of completion after attending The Court Community Leadership and Liaison Program from the Superior Court of California in the County of Santa Clara, provided by the Court’s presiding judges and commissioner.
They received several certificates for participating in and attending various Santa Clara County Family Law Bench and Bar seminars for Legal Technicians and Santa Clara County Family Court Procedural Training for Family Law Attorneys and Family Law Independent LDAs over the years.
